It’s hard to believe that 9 months have already passed since that day, but here we are. 9 months ago today, I was going about my normal routine, with no idea that the world as we knew it was about to change.
We all have our own stories of what life was like 9 months ago today, and for most of us, it was a time of relative normalcy. We went to work, school, and social events without a second thought. But then, COVID-19 struck, and everything changed.

9 Months Ago from Today
It’s hard to believe that it’s been 9 months since I started on this journey. Looking back at where I was then and where I am now, I can see just how much I’ve grown and how much I’ve accomplished.
Nine months ago, I was feeling stuck in my career and unsure of what the future held. I was working long hours in a job that didn’t challenge me, and I was beginning to lose my passion for the work I was doing.
But then I decided to take a leap of faith and make some changes. I enrolled in a course to develop new skills and started networking with professionals in my field. And slowly but surely, things began to shift.
Within a few months, I had landed a new job that was much more challenging and rewarding. I was working with a team of talented individuals who inspired me to do my best work every day. My confidence grew, and I began to see the possibilities that lay ahead.
Now, 9 months later, my career is in a completely different place. I’ve taken on new responsibilities and even earned a promotion. I feel more fulfilled and satisfied than I ever did in my old job.
Reflecting on my journey 9 months ago, I’m reminded of the power of taking risks and embracing change. It wasn’t easy to step outside of my comfort zone, but it was worth it. And I know that there are even greater things ahead if I continue to push myself and remain open to new opportunities.
Nine months ago today, I set out on a journey of self-improvement. It’s hard to believe how quickly time has passed, and yet when I look back on all that I’ve accomplished in the past nine months, it’s clear that I’ve come a long way.
When I first started this journey, I had a few clear goals in mind. I wanted to improve my health and fitness, master a new skill, and focus on personal growth and development. As I progressed, I found that my goals shifted and evolved, and I became more focused on building good habits and living a more intentional, purposeful life.
Looking back on the past nine months, I’m proud of the progress I’ve made. I’ve lost weight, improved my overall fitness, learned a new language, and developed a consistent meditation practice. I’ve also made strides in my professional life, taking on new challenges and responsibilities at work and building valuable connections in my industry.
Of course, there is still much work to be done. As I move forward into the future, I am setting new goals for myself and working to build on the progress I’ve made over the past nine months. Some of my future goals include:
- Continuing to improve my fitness by running a half marathon
- Mastering a new programming language and building a new web app
- Continuing to focus on personal growth and development through regular journaling and self-reflection
I’m excited to see where the next nine months will take me, and I’m confident that with hard work and continued focus, I can achieve all of my goals and continue to make progress toward becoming the best version of myself.
